MR HARDYS is an online retailer specialising in male grooming and skincare products. A collection of over 150 products sourced from across the world. MR HARDYS needed a simple solution to manage inventory, customer and marketing databases, shipping etc. with an easy to use interface that was optimised for mobile. The website’s look and feel was carefully curated to make the experience engaging for the target customer.
MR HARDYS is an online store thats serves as a marketplace for male grooming products. Second to that, it's an online destination for guys to research style options and find amazing grooming products to look sharp and stay on point. The ethos is to encourage men to feel inspired and to experiment with their own look. The site launched back in 2014 and the scope was to build a fully functional eCommerce store that worked seamlessly on mobile and was on budget. One of the challenges was to represent 150+ products across several brands and establish loyal customers.
We built a responsive website using Shopify. The website uses a simple content management system, making it easy to upload products, change images, add new collections and so on. This helped us save time and reduce the overall cost, allowing us to focus on the customer experience. Our goal was to design and develop a website that customers would enjoy using on both desktop and mobile. We undertook a rebrand (May 2017) which gave us the opportunity to tweak and develop the site functionality further, adding filters, improve cart pages and sections on the home page. The changes have resulted in increased sales and the client was very happy with the overall project.
